Introducing this year’s Falkirk Ladies heritage kit which is inspired by the blue and white hoops of Falkirk FC’s first ever recorded shirt, worn by the founding Bairns between 1876 and 1880.
The kit also celebrates the significant role played by Falkirk District’s waterways in its rich history, and social and economic development.
The rivers of the Falkirk area – especially the Forth, Carron and Avon – have been the lifeblood of the area since Roman times. Water motifs still feature in the crests of three of four Falkirk burghs – Grangemouth, Bo’ness and Denny & Dunipace.
This season’s heritage kit therefore borrows the crest’s ‘wave’ design, recognising the importance of all three burghs and Falkirk fans who live there.
